So, now that I'm thinking, while I'm watching it snow in the middle of April, I'm thinking that microgreens might provide an option for our early Farmers Market customers. It's clear Mother Nature isn't planning to give us much time to get things in the ground early. So, it's time to experiment.
10 varieties, started on April 22. I'm planning to have a taste-test in 10 days. I'll keep you posted on their progress and the final results. Stay tuned!
Microgreens. Micro what? I love following new food trends, whether it's growing food or eating food. Microgreens have been on the periphery of my radar screen for a little while now. It was time to find out more about these little guys.
